SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Provost Public School offers a number of options classes in conjunction with our core subjects programming.
Music: Our music program, which is offered from k - 12, has been involved in numerous local and division concerts, as well as taking their bands skills overseas to perform in international locations.
CTF and CTS: With a recently renovated Home Ec lab, students from grades 7 - 12 are able to work on their cooking skills which include but are not limited to basic cooking and baking skills, vegetarian and international meal preparations, and learning how to create delicious cakes and pastries. For those who do not wish to take cooking classes, our Industrial Arts program offers teaching in wood working, carpentry, welding and metal work. Our art program provides a place for students to learn skills in traditional artwork, as well as modern digital art and technology to help develop 21st century skills.
English: We have implemented our highly successful Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) reading and Writer’s Workshop program.
