Mrs. Fawn Beatty

Hello! This is my 14th year teaching at PPS. I grew up in Provost and attended K-12 at PPS, so I have spent over half of my life within the walls of our school! Prior to working here, I spent three years teaching in Evansburg AB. I have a B.Ed in Secondary Education with a major in English from the University of Alberta and a diploma in Professional Writing from MacEwan. I am currently teaching ELA from grades 9-12 and grade 6. I absolutely love English--I love reading and writing and I try to pass this passion on to my students. One of my favourite things to do is recommend books to people who *hate* reading. I truly believe you just need to find the right book, then the love-for-reading-spark will be ignited. 

My husband, Troy, and I have three happy, energetic elementary-aged children. We live on an acreage near Chauvin.
