Mr. Mike Olsen

Hello! I am Mr. Olsen. 

I am entering my tenth year of teaching, and my fifth year at Provost Public School.

I am ecstatic to be teaching English Language Arts 7, Instrumental Music, and Elementary Art this year. Having the opportunity to share my love for music and passion for performance at Provost Public School has been the best experience in my teaching career to date. And having the chance to do what I do back in my home school division of Buffalo Trail Public Schools makes it that much more rewarding. It's a full circle effect being able to give back to the region where it all started for me as student long ago.

I obtained my Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta and began my teaching career in Elementary Music and Drama. Over the last decade, I have taught at every grade level and at numerous schools in Alberta. I moved to Provost four years ago with my amazing family of four, now five. We couldn't be happier to be part of this incredible community we now call home.
